HISTORY

The Best Western Plus Regency Inn and Conference Centre is owned and managed by the Tejpar Family. The Tejpars came from very humble beginnings in Tanzania. Our grandmother was the Matriarch of eight children and emphasized the value of:

Those instilled qualities became a blessing as our family moved from Africa to Canada. Although difficult and trying at first, our first generation family found new opportunities and felt lucky to have Canada as our new home. Our parents worked tirelessly to grow and cultivate our family business, always keeping in mind the values that were instilled by their mother. Today our company has eight hotels in both British Colombia and Alberta and is managed by the 2nd generation family who carry on the founding principles. These are the same principles that we incorporate into our hotel family at the Best Western Plus Regency Inn and Conference Centre.
